What is full form of RAM

The full form of RAM is Random Access Memory.

Not much information can be found about its name. Let us try to understand it in easy words.

Suppose you are sitting in an office and you will need a file to work. But the file is kept in another room. So whenever you have to reduce, you will go to another room and bring the file. And keep that file on your desk and start doing your work.

But there comes a time when you have to do very little together. And for this you will need a lot of files. So for so many tasks, you will need a bigger desk to keep more files. So when you have to do the work you have to do, pick the same file and start doing the same thing. And when your work is finished, you will put all those files back in the room.

This is how mobile RAM works. The second room in this example is the memory inside your mobile. Which has all the files and applications on your mobile. And the desk is the RAM of your mobile.

So RAM's job is to run an application as per your command. Since the application takes some time to open, this is because the RAM speed is very fast. So in simple words, we know what RAM is? And how does it work?

Whenever you install an app in your mobile. So it is stored in the internal memory of your mobile. But when you run an app, then that app comes from your mobile internal memory into your mobile RAM. That's why if your mobile or computer's RAM is low and you run a lot of applications simultaneously, then your mobile and computer starts hanging. So the more RAM you can do the more multitasking.

There are mainly two types of RAM: -

1. SDRAM (DRAM)

2. SRAM

SDRAM is known by these names in the market: - SDRAM - DDR 1, DDR 2, DDR 3, DDR 4.

The full form of DDR RAM is Double Data Rate Random Access Memory. 

 

All these RAMs are used in computers and mobiles.

रैम का फुल फॉर्म क्या है?

RAM का फुल फॉर्म है रैंडम एक्सेस मैमोरी। 

इसके नाम से इसके बारे में अधिक जानकारी नहीं मिल रही। चलिए इसे आसान शब्दों में समझने की कोशिश करते हैं। 

मान लीजिए आप किसी ऑफिस में बैठे हैं और आपको काम करने के लिए एक फाइल चाहिए होगी। पर फाइल किसी दूसरे कमरे में रखी है। तो जब भी आपको कम करना होगा आप दूसरे कमरे में जाएंगे और फाइल लेकर आएगे। और उस फाइल को अपने डेस्क पर रख कर अपना काम करने लगेंगे। 

पर एक समय ऐसा आता है जब आपको एक साथ बहुत कम करने होते हैं। और इसके लिए आपको बहुत फाइल्स कि जरूरत पड़ेगी। तो इतने सारे कामों के लिए आपको ज्यादा फाइल्स रखने के लिए ज्यादा बड़ी डेस्क कि जरूरत पड़ेगी। तो जब आपको जो काम करना होगा आप वही फाइल उठा के वही काम करने लगेगे। और जब आपका काम ख़तम हो जाएगा तो आप उन सारी फाइलों को वापस कमरे में रख देंगे। 

इसी प्रकार मोबाइल की RAM काम करती है। इस उदाहरण में को दूसरा कमरा है वो आपके मोबाइल के अंदर की मैमोरी है। जिसमे आपके मोबाइल के सारे फाइल्स और एप्लीकेशंस हैं। और जो डेस्क है वो आपके मोबाइल की RAM है। 

तो RAM का काम आपके आदेश के अनुसार किसी एप्लिकेशन को रन करना है। चूंकि एप्लिकेशन को ओपन होने में कुछ समय लगता है, ये इसलिए होता है क्योंकि RAM की स्पीड बहुत तेज होती है। तो आसान शब्दों में हमने ये जान लिया की रैम क्या है? और कैसे काम करता है?

जब भी आप किसी एप्प को अपने मोबाइल में इंस्टॉल करते हैं। तो वो आपके मोबाइल के इंटरनल मेमोरी में स्टोर होता है। पर जब अप किसी एप्प को रन करते हैं तो वो एप्प आपके मोबाइल के इंटरनल मेमोरी से आपके मोबाइल के RAM में आ जाती है। इसी लिए अगर आपके मोबाइल या कंप्यूटर का RAM कम है और आप एक साथ बहुत सारे एप्लिकेशन रन करते हैं, तो आपका मोबाइल और कंप्यूटर हैंग होने लगता है। इसलिए जितना ज्यादा RAM आप उतना ज्यादा मल्टीटास्किंग कर सकते हैं।
