What is the full form of NEET?
The full form of NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is an entrance examination for taking admission in medical education related courses, MBBA and BDS in India. Students who pass this entrance examination get admission in these courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET exams in India.

NEET का फुल फॉर्म है नेशनल एलिजिबिलिटी कम एंट्रेंस (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) टेस्ट। ये भारत में मेडिकल एजुकेशन से जुड़े कोर्सेस, MBBA और BDS में एडमिशन लेने के लिए एक प्रवेश परीक्षा है। इस प्रवेश परीक्षा को पास कर लेने वाले छात्रों को इन कोर्सेस में एडमिशन मिल जाता है। नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (National Testing Agency) NTA भारत में NEET परीक्षा करती है।
The NEET exam takes place at two levels. NEET UG and NEET PG. NEET is for MBBS and BDS courses at UG level. And NEET PG level is for MS and MD courses.
NEET परीक्षा दो स्तर पर होता है। NEET UG और NEET PG। NEET UG स्तर पर MBBS और BDS कोर्सेस के लिए होता है। और NEET PG स्तर MS और MD कोर्सेस के लिए होता है।
This examination is conducted every year for the admission of about 479 medical colleges across India.
यह परीक्षा हर साल पूरे भारत के लगभग 479 मेडिकल कॉलेज एडमिशन के लिए आयोजित होता है।
Let know why NEET test was required to do these courses?
Whereas before that, without the NEET test, other entrance examinations also got admission in the college. Before NEET, there were 90 different types of entrance examinations for taking admission in medical colleges in India.
ये जानते हैं कि इन कोर्सेस को करने के लिए NEET टेस्ट की जरूरत क्यों पड़ी?
जबकि इससे पहले भी बिना NEET टेस्ट के अन्य प्रवेश परीक्षाओं से भी कॉलेज में एडमिशन मिलता था। नीट से पहले भारत में मेडिकल कॉलेज में एडमिशन लेने के लिए अलग अलग कुल 90 प्रकार के प्रवेश परीक्षाए होती थी।
Of these, AIPMT was the entrance examination to be taken by CBSE (Center Board Of Secondary Education) Apart from this, some other states had their own separate entrance examinations.
इनमे से AIPMT यह CBSE द्वारा लिया जाने वाला प्रवेश परीक्षा थी। इसके अलावा बाकी कुछ राज्यों के अपने अलग अलग प्रवेश परीक्षाएं थी।
So for this reason, a student had to take at least 7 to 8 entrance exams. Due to this, a student was under a lot of pressure. Apart from this, with every exam, there was an increase in the application fee and the worry of being successful in every entrance exam.
तो इस कारण एक छात्र को कम से कम 7 से 8 प्रवेश परीक्षा देनी पड़ती थी। इसके कारण एक छात्र के ऊपर बहुत दबाव पड़ता था। इसके अलावा हर परीक्षा के साथ आवेदन शुल्क और हर प्रवेश परीक्षा में सफल होने की चिंता भी बढ़ जाती थी।
For this reason NEET exam was made to reduce the amount of money spent due to pressure from more students and so many entrance exams. Thus NEET has AIPMT and state level CETs like DELHI-PMT, MHCET, R-PMT, WBJEE, EAMCET has been replaced.
इस कारण ज्यादा छात्रों के ऊपर से दबाव काम करने और इतने सारे प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के कारण खर्च होने वाले पैसों को कम करने के लिए NEET एग्जाम को बनाया गया। इस प्रकार NEET ने AIPMT इस और स्टेट लेवल के CET जैसे DELHI-PMT, MHCET, R-PMT , WBJEE,
EAMCET को रिप्लेस कर दिया है।
More information about NEET: -
It is a single stage exam and is offline. In the coming years, this exam will be online or offline. There is also a possibility that this exam should be taken twice a year instead of once a year.

ये एक सिंगल स्टेज एग्जाम है और ये ऑफलाइन होता है। आने वाले सालों में ये एग्जाम ऑनलाइन होगा या ऑफलाइन ये तय नहीं है। इसकी भी संभावना है कि ये एग्जाम साल में एक बार लेने के बदले साल में दो बार लिया जाए।
The duration of this exam is 3 hours. It consists of objective type questions. And there is also negative marking. To give this exam, your 12th should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology subjects.
इस एग्जाम की कलावाधी 3 घंटे की है। इसमें ऑब्जेक्टिव टाइप प्रश्न होते हैं। और नेगेटिव मार्किंग भी होती है। इस एग्जाम को देने के लिए आपके 12 वीं में भौतिक विज्ञान , रसायन विज्ञान और जीवविज्ञान / जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विषय होने चाहिए।
Criteria for taking the NEET exam: -
Mathematics is not necessary for NEET exam. The candidate must be at least 17 years old to give this exam. There is no upper age limit for this exam. For this exam, candidates in the unreserved category should have a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology in the 12th standard, while the candidates of OBC, SC and ST should get at least 40%. It is also important for the candidate to be Indian.
NEET परीक्षा देने के लिए मानदंड:-
NEET परीक्षा देने के लिए गणित विषय जरूरी नहीं। इस परीक्षा को देने के लिए प्रत्याशी की उम्र कम से कम 17 साल होनी चाहिए। इस एग्जाम के लिए कोई ऊपरी आयु सीमा नहीं है। इस एग्जाम के लिए अनारक्षित श्रेणी के प्रत्याशी को 12 वीं में भौतिक विज्ञान , रसायन विज्ञान और जीवविज्ञान / जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विषय में कम से कम 50% मार्क्स होने चाहिए, जबकि OBC, SC और ST के प्रत्याशी को कम से कम 40% आने चाहिए। प्रत्याशी का भारतीय होना भी जरूरी हैI
